In this third blog in a series on the Beatitudes, I am reflecting on blessedness connected to mercy, purity, and peacemaking.

"Messiah tells us that blessedness starts with being poor in spirit."

“As Jesus delivered His Sermon on the Mount, He initiated His discourse with the Beatitudes.”

A couple of years ago, I was reading the Declaration of Independence and began to wonder about the beliefs of its authors.

“The very building blocks of the sexes predispose them to unique attributes.“

Loving God and loving people are a call to duty. So, as we go about our lives, let us remember that love fulfills the law.

Is our faith in Christ real? Have our lives advanced the Kingdom of God? If Jesus returned this instant, are we ready for Him?

“Genuine saving faith understands the price that Christ paid, and in turn, it strives to emulate Him.”

Although the parable uses the image of a sower, its spiritual focus is on the quality of the various soils.

“Like salvation, the privilege of receiving and embracing the message of the parables is a gift from God.”

In reality, God has held the clock at one second to midnight for thousands of years.

Every human will experience the last gasp of breath in this life. Even though most would consider this thought morbid, it is a reality.

Instead of looking to the Second Amendment for protection, should we be reading Scripture and examining our hearts?

Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

In Matthew 18, Jesus initiated a discourse by pointing to the dependent disposition of children.

“Not only is Jesus pre-existing and eternal, but He possesses all of the attributes of God.”

“Yahweh, our God, is unsurpassed...I reflect on His greatness, He created all that I see from nothing. “

Think about this...heaven is filled with “no-names” from this existence.

“Are you a Cultural Christian, or are you a Biblical Christian?”

“Military conflict is often the self-inflicted climax of various sinful deeds that occur over time.”
